Refund Policy
Beyond Bath Kitchen is committed to complying with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Our return policy is designed to ensure that your rights are upheld in accordance with the ACL.
Consumer Guarantees: Under the ACL, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Change of Mind Returns: We understand that you may change your mind about a purchase. While we are not obligated under the ACL to accept returns for change of mind, we may offer exchanges or store credit at our discretion, provided that:
-The item is returned within 14 days upon receipt of your order.
-The item is in its original condition, unused, and in its original packaging.
-Proof of purchase is provided.
-Custom-made or personalized products are not eligible for change of mind returns.
Faulty or Defective Products: If a product fails to meet a consumer guarantee, please contact us promptly with details of the issue. We will assess the problem and determine an appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement, or refund, in accordance with the ACL.
Return Process: To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at sales@beyondbathkitchen.com. We will provide you with instructions on how to return the product. Please note that you may be responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is confirmed to have a major failure.
Upon receiving your returned item, we will guide you through the following process:
-Return Shipping Costs: The buyer is responsible for covering the shipping costs to return the item to our warehouse. The warehouse address will be provided once the return is approved.
-Exchange Options: We offer exchanges for stocked items under the following conditions:
--Equivalent Value: Exchange for an item of equal value.
--Lesser Value: Exchange for an item of lesser value, with the remaining balance credited to you in the form of an eGift card.
--Greater Value: Exchange for an item of greater value, with the difference to be paid by you.
Exclusions:
Please note that the return process does not include large items such as shower screens, bathtubs, etc., nor does it include custom-made items. Remedies for defective goods are still available.
Restocking and Handling Fees:
-A restocking and returns handling fee of 20% of the item's value will be charged for returns.
-If a return needs to be picked up within the Melbourne Metro Area, a 15% charge of the item's value will apply.
-For pick-ups in Inter-State or the Melbourne Region, a quote for restocking fees will be provided.
Clearance Items:
Change of mind returns are not applicable to clearance collections. Items purchased from clearance cannot be returned.
Returning or Exchanging a Damaged Item:
All our items are checked for damage and missing parts prior to delivery and are sent out in good and brand-new condition. Items should be inspected immediately upon receipt. Any damages should be reported to us within 48 hours of receiving your order. Failure to report within this timeframe will be deemed acceptance of the items in their received condition. Installation of an item signifies acceptance of its quality, and claims for visible damages post-installation may not be viable.
No Return After Installation:Once an item has been installed and/or used, returns under this policy are not accepted, except where the item is faulty or defective as part of our Warranty Terms. If you believe you are eligible for a claim under our Warranty Terms, please contact us before removing the item, as we may need to inspect the goods in their installed status to determine if the warranty applies.
